Finally got around to installing the rims and tires I purchased two weeks ago. Decided to go with no lift even though I had the 4WP two inch lift in my possession. Had to remove both sets of crash bars in the front to make it work but tested it off road with no rubbing or issues. Let me know your thoughts. PS- didnā€™t have to use the rear brake light extension. Stock worked on tires of this size. Note: I have the metal front bumber and my installer had to grind down the front crash bar to get it out. It wouldnā€™t pull straight out without hitting the bumper or removing the bumper. Went with Fuel 18ā€ rims and 295/70/R18 tires from Bridgestone. Total cost around $3,500.

One question, what is height of your bronco with rims and tire? Sorry to ask, due to my job, I have to go lower height parking garages so I'm trying to see if the similar setting will affecting changing and rims and tires. Thank you

I'll try to measure later when at home but it should only be about 1 inch taller than stock with no lift.

Hereā€™s my non Sasquatch with 315/70/17 on Sasquatch take offs. As you probably know, that size is not really 35ā€, mine measure 34.36ā€. I will put a 1.25ā€ level on the fronts. IMO, it looks way better with the larger tires.

Before and after:

Zero issues. So far Iā€™ve only done light off-roading but nearly all of mine will be light to moderate so I donā€™t expect any issues. I did put a 1.25ā€ leveling kit on the front to get rid of the rake.

That combination looks great. I am one of those that actually like the Outer Banks stock rims, weird I know. Question will I have any suspension rub if I put Nitto Terra Grapplers in 295/70 R18s (34.2") or do I need off set? I see You did have to remove the crash bars, what about the low profile after market crash bars, do you think they will work with 34.2s?
I have a OBX with Sasquatch ordered but thinking of dropping the Sasquatch and just getting the rear locker, then adding 1" front level with the before mentioned tires on the stock rims.

With a 1" leveling kit you should be ok without Sasquatch and a 34.2" tire, but it will be close. You might have to pull the crash bars.

The offset would help, but you could always run a spacer.

The low profile aftermarket crash bars work with 35ā€ tires on a non Sasquatch as my buddy has them on his. Iā€™m not sure what the offset is on his aftermarket 17ā€ rims but they are close to the factory offset for Sasquatch. Mine is non Sasquatch with Sasquatch take offs I bought locally and a 1.25ā€ leveling kit for the fronts. I sold my OBX rims and tires for $800 and paid $3000 for the Wildpeaks 315/70/17ā€™s and factory 17ā€wheels. I had to remove crash bars but could always add aftermarket if I wanted.

Stock OBX with 295/70/17 KO 2ā€™s. Removed the crash bars ( easy ) but probably did not need to. I hate the OBX rims so I swapped some BB rims I found on here.

No issues with rubbing thus far. Have 10,000 plus miles on them at this point. No real off roading except for going out on the beach in Jersey.

Hey I'm not sure about the low profile crash bars. I took the stock off and never looked back. The wheels def. rubbed with the stock crash bars but have been completely fine without them. If I had to do everything all over, I would have ordered the Sasquatch or at a minimum the locker. I don't have the locker and I regret that and while I love my wheel / rim combo, it would have been much easier to just go with the Sasquatch from the factory which has a lift built into it I believe.

. I went for it and have spending a lot of time at Brigantine this summer. This picture was in the Pinelands last weekend.

Hey Bill. yeah I realized that a few minutes ago!! haha. Sorry. User names don't line up in Facebook with 6G. Funny that I was picking your brain about the wheels. I love them and wouldn't go any bigger. I have driven multiple SAS and feel the 33's are perfect. Vehicle feels more nimble and responsive. Next, I will put the Bilstein's on to give me 3" + extra wheel travel to keep them on the ground. Manual disconnect for sway bar and support on tie rods. That should hold me off for a while.
