Overlanding Transit Van (Mike Levine Twitter Post), Bronco "Chase" Vehicle? Vanquatch?

Mike Levine posted a link to a AWD Overlanding 2020 Transit Van Review:



It was a fun review to watch. Also cemented the idea that I really don't need much more than the Base Bronco. That wide wheelbase/low clearance van was handling moderate off-road conditions pretty well. Also loved to see how it handled going over situations where one wheel was not touching a rock/ground.

Also, there is 540 cubic feet of volume in there!

Also, I wonder if anyone would get one of these as a "chase vehicle" for a Bronco based over-landing expeditions. Maybe it does not go everywhere the Bronco does, but it would carry supplies as a moving "base camp" each night.

I did also ask him about a Sasquatch version. He later came coined the term "Vanquatch.''

A 2-door with a flat cargo floor, and enough room for my dog crate and to lay down and sleep in?

From what I’ve read on this forum, this is exactly that the 2-door Bronco should have been.

My "chase vehicle" will likely be my Acura MDX pulling a trailer but something like this would be very nice.

Then you could drive your Bronco and have the autonomous camper van follow you to your campsite! You wouldn't have to worry about the Bronco's towing capacity.

With all due respect, from what i've learned on this forum is that we need to bitch and moan (very loudly typing), PLUS make a petition to Ford to give us the only real transit van worth owning.

Who's with me? Who will sign the petition?
