If so, I'd like to get some use out of my cloth seats or get them dirty or something.

Also, if Katzkin remove my cloth cover, and replace with their leather cover, do I get to keep my cloth cover?

Can someone explain to me why people are getting a model with the Sasquatch package and then immediately getting a lift and new wheels/tires? Why not just get the cheapest package if you're immediately going to replace everything?

Because the cheaper builds don't handle the larger tires because the rear ends are smaller. Just to name one reason.

SAS $ is for off-road tech. The tires are just frosting on top. The better question is why don’t people wait till the warranty is up before throwing on a lift and after-market tires and wheels? Why risk the warranty?

I got lucky... mine was pre-modified for the original order customer by the dealership's custom shop. According to them, and the paperwork, all warranty applies. Original customer walked away before delivery. I wouldn't have done it exactly the same way they did, but close enough, and couldn't touch the price anywhere else (MSRP plus cost of parts for the mods)

I used to think the same, but once the "Lift Me Baby" easter egg was discovered on the wheel well, as silly as it seems, that's pretty much ford approving lifts. They'd have a hard time voiding a warranty for something that they suggest themselves, stamped in steel on the SUV itself.

And (1) the suspension and lockers on the Sas are still worth a lot, in and of themselves, plus (2) people sell their take-offs to recoup some of the money.

Exactly right. Sold my wheels and tires which helped to partially cover the cost of the new ones.

Good question.
1) Supply/availability of my preferred wheel tire combo.
2) Maxlider Brothers does a majority of builds with this exact wheel/tire size and offset. So I was confident it would look good.
3) I had concerns that 37"'s wouldn't run though my neighborhood car wash. I try to wash my Bronco once a week...weather permitting.

All that being said...I'm love the look with 37's too!
