Wonder what will happen to the ones of us in parking lot limbo now. Produced 7/14. Sitting ever since. I’d be fine if they just added the HT kit and shipped with a soft top. I was a day 1 reserve. Been waiting super patiently. Even ordered strategically to help assure quicker production. Sad.

Wow, so my bronco will be sitting in a dirt lot until 2022? This is my first Ford, and clearly a gamble that didn’t pay off.

My guess is that this means that if yours was built with a faulty top they will allow you to opt for a soft top to get your build. If not then next in line with that build will have the option to take it… either way cheers🍻
If only their solution could be so sweet

Hopefully it also involves suing Webasto for there incompetence. I understand Ford should have maybe been more on the ball with this too, but Webasto is a big very well respected supplier in the automotive industry. For then to have effed this up so spectacularly is shocking.

They should've never released the Bronco and taken orders until they were 100% ready for production and delivery. Jeep had no problem taking my money for my diesel Gladiator Rubicon with a painted hard top. Took a few weeks not years.
That’s because jeep is way better then crap Ford

Obviously the announcement is they will no longer produce hard tops until 2022. It’s not that hard to guess.
Nope, that was always sorta assumed, Ross wouldn't have phrased that way unless it was way worse, more like no hard tops until 2023 when mod tops come out.
