This is amazing. It looks like a desert tan / brownish / greenish / military color. If that is the case (which I hope it is) that will be the color I choose. So indecisive between A51 and CG colors.

May be its just Unpainted Frame? ;)

I hope they do a better job of priming/painting than they did with the EB's...

new color?

My grandfather worked at the Ford truck plant in our area for 41 years he told me that the first 50 to 100 production models have blemishes and they use them for paint testing before any metallic flake or clearcoat

I would wager these were used in the paint validation process. I would also wager the "new" color is just a primer paint layer.

Ok, enough green/tan/cactus grey talk ... no one excited about the VB??? Been bouncing between white/AB/Silver wanting to see a VB that's not someone's paintshop rendition.

I really hope its not. LOL... If this turns out to be true, I will put my order without wanting to see A51 CG colors in person. ?‍♂

I have a sneaking suspicion that's bare metal or primer and not a new color.
And wow, that many tan fans? Not a fan of the tan on the Toyota trucks.

After some investigating, I believe I was able to narrow down the approximate location of these Bronco bodies based on where the light is hitting the Area 51 Bronco and its position relative to the blue water tower. Here is a satellite image of the Wayne Assembly Plant where I have marked where I believe these Bronco bodies are sitting. See if you can find something I did not.

Just because I can't leave well enough alone...

I do not think these are from the PAINT plant and color checks. These are outside the assemble plant for final build.

1. Plant layout and the location of the Photo.

2. The plant layout relative to Stamping, Body, and Final Assembly.

No idea why they are there, or where Cyber Orange is in this mix, but they are outside the final assembly plant, not the paint plant.

The sheet metal on the building looks like ‘putty’ or a ‘pumice’ color, a slightly tannish gray, specially in contrast to the carbonized gray and silver bodies. The anomaly looks like desert tan to me.
Building color analysis...check.
Utilizing pumice in Bronco talk...check.
This guy needs to go have a discussion with the a Bronco Color Selection Team! It is obvious you put more analyt thought into colors then anyone assigned to the team.
