I think a better test would be:
1) Antimatter Blue - VS - Black
2) Area 51 & Cactus Grey

AB & A51 are WAY too different to compare
To be clear, the objective here is not to "compare" these two colors. Better choice of words would have been "to demystify" these two maddening colors (CG is up next).

Having seen in person I have two concluding thoughts: 1) the Anti Matter Blue will look amazing IF it can be coupled with a white top and either a white or silver grill. Icing on cake would be Detroit Steel Wheels doing a 17" white steely with a center chrome cap, 2) A51 will look exactly like what you see in the Bronco Sport photos.

Still A51. I like how the AMB has a tint of purple in the sun.

I have to agree.
I was in the Cactus Gray all-the-way camp, but more and more it is looking like mint and not enough green. It’s not for me.
On the other hand, I’d never buy a red vehicle. Maybe Magnum’s Ferrari.
But,
we had an FJ60 Land Cruiser, white over red, when I was a kid. I remember an old red Bronco too.
And race red is kinda speakin’ to me. Givin’ that old vibe. It’s really growin’ on me. WARN red. White top, wheels, grill, mirrors, slim flares, possibly in white, in race red. Yeah.
Or a spruce, forest, light to medium non-metallic green, or some medium NM brown...
Oi.

Yeah, AB has turned into a big disappointment for me. It's just black with a blue tint. I would really love to know what the thought processes were that went into choosing the color palette for the Bronco. The selection is honestly pretty terrible.
Now hold on a second, those words are CRAZy....
The Ford Color Collaboration Integrated Product team spent an entire after noon conducting in death (typo on purpose) analysis.
The result:
1) Gray that looks like Grey (Carbon)
2) Silver that looks like Gray in the shade (Iconic)
3) Gray that looks like grey, blue, mint green, dirty white, seafoam green (agh hell I don know... Cactus)
4) Orange that looks like the coolest school bus, Ever! (Cyber O)
5) Black...that looks like Dirty black (Shadow)
6) White that looks like your getting chased down a freeway at 35mph (Oxford)
7) Blue that is black, no wait it’s Blues, agh shit that tree is blocking the Sun, black (AMB)
8) Amazon Prime (You know this one, come on take a guess)
9) Red with an Orange tint (Race ya)
10) Red that is darker (Redish, deep, cool, but who effing knows anymore)
11) A bright blue that we have actually seen but, they can’t figure out how to transport a shipment to a different plant! (Hint: change the delivery address ) (VB)
How can you not love it!?!?
For all of the Absolute amazing ideas incorporated into the Bronco by the design and engineering teams, the paint choice are CRAP! (Luckily, for me there are three colors I like).

Antimatter I like a lot but i think it’ll show too much dirt
cactus grey seems nice but a lot of renderings it looks sage and I think I’d hate that

Thanks for taking the time and posting the pics.
Antimatter is just too dark for my liking.
I like Area 51. I think. I really want a white top/grille. Not sure how that would look.

i have never had a red car and thought I never would.
But other than white race red is the only “classic” bronco color.
Red with white top would be sharp and I’m starting to lean that way. White wheels and grille as well.

Hold on. Only two possibilities here:

1) my samples were flawed, or
2) that F150 is not AMB

The samples I had validated other data points we have seen—cool color, near black.

Net, I do not believe the F150 is AMB.

Guard green ftw
Guard Green and Grabber Blue definitely should be being offered for the Bronco. I don't know what the Hell Ford is thinking.
