well, if it has that, then ignore all my shit above, that does the exact thing that you twin stick and double parking brake for.
But does it allow front diff locked and really getting on it with wheel fully cocked for a true front dig?
And I don't see why parking brake could not be manual and still use ABS solenoids to do video above.

Give me a button or pedal, I’m putting in a 60/40 bench seat ASAP and don’t need the lever causing complications.

Are you guessing that'll be an aftermarket avail designed specially for Bronco?

I would hope so, but if not I’m sure I can pick up another 60/40 from a 2 door guy who doesn’t want back seats. My 91’ Silverado has a 60/40 bench seat and I love it. The space is so far the misses just has to come cuddle up.

With the Auto Hold Hill Assist coming up in the Manual Transmission thread, I felt the need to revive this thread.

Even with Auto Hold Hill Assist, I still want a Manual Hand Brake Leaver in the Center Console Area..... :p

I'm used to a foot pedal just from driving pickup trucks my whole life. I'd be OK with a hand lever as long as it didn't get in the way of anything, though.

Bumping this thread due to DIG Not Being Available on the MT.

PLEASE FoMoCo!!!!!! Give us a Manual Hand Leaver Park Brake!!!!! Also, it would be nice if it were where we could just brake one of the rear wheels independently to assist in turning... aka Digging , but if not, the aftermarket could as long as you (FoMoCo) gave us the Manual Hand Leaver Park Brake.

What do you think the Trail Turn Assist does? Yes, it's only on the automatic, but try getting a non-computer controlled version approved with today's government regulations; that's really the answer to most complaints we all have on hear, lol. It seems like it could be probable to use the steering wheel position sensor and speed sensor to activate the rear brakes individually, but maybe they use an extra module or the one that controls the 10 speed to do this.

FWIW - I don't recall Ford putting a center handbrake on any of their trucks.

New wranglers have brake lock differential built in that uses the ABS in 4LO to pulse brakes to keep airborne tires from spinning and transfer power to the wheel on the ground. The old method without ABS help was to pump the parking brake when a rear wheel was in the air to transfer power momentarily to the wheel on the ground. Most new cars have government mandated ESC (electronic stability control) and traction control that will try to do something similar with a spinning tire. Most are not designed for crawling like the wrangler though. How much the bronco will do I don't know yet.

Another awesome and funny teraflex video describing how it works on a jeep:

The Bronco is built on a truck platform so it should definitely have the foot-depressed parking brake. I may be old school though. I have no idea why vehicle manufacturers think they need to make everything electronic these days. Of all things to be electronic, the parking brake just doesn't make any sense.

I suppose if it is just for parking it doesnt matter as long as it does what it is supposed to. I'd rather have the lever in the center console though. Electronic style are hard to use in an emergency and the pedal kind get in the way of where I put my feet (there's already not enough room down there in most vehicles)

Hand lever because my dumbass would forget the foot button, and I don't entirely trust the electronic one...
