You’d just have to wire it to a power source. The mirror has a powered light. That would be the easiest source to tap. However, I’m going to dive in and see if I can find a keyed power source so it will only work on key or RAP power. Don’t want someone to have access to my garage simply by breaking in

Curious to know if the factory homelink is powered at all times or not. If anyone who has this option can confirm.
Yes it is.

Has anyone figured out if all Bronco's have that wiring for the Visor?
I'm told, yes. Assuming all Broncos have the lighted mirror. Once I receive my replacement, I'll validate if the lighted mirror plug powers the mirror and homelink

The Black diamond does not have a lighted visor.
Thanks!

Hi. Did your visor show up? I am about to order one from Tasco and want to make sure it is what you expected. Thanks.

Not yet. I see the package pending shipment on my FedEx Account but it hasn't shipped yet

2 cents ...

Lots of options for garage doors.

If I lived in a gated neighborhood , I would probably like an integrated button but don't think I would sweat having the remote just clipped to the visor.

My Genie garage door openers are wifi compatible.

I have the MyQ app on my phone and can open , close and monitor them from anywhere that I have a data connection.

I get an alert each time they operate.

If you don’t have the Mid or higher packages the vanity mirrors are not lighted if I am reading the specs correctly.

For those with access to the service manual or those with a standard package rig in hand already is the mirror lighting connector hiding in the trim piece above the mirror or at least likely to be there from the diagram? Figuring they may have it on all wiring harnesses.

I have a base with aux switches inbound and will be adding some sort of Homelink with the visor option in this thread the most attractive although adding the self contained battery switch I have looked at as well. Plus if it turns out the connector is there might swap the passenger for a plain lighted one for the wife. Appreciate any insight!
