That will work wonders on my f-150 wiper cowl.
Wiper cowls are often a different type of plastic. I have let Solution Finish dry overnight instead of wiping down after 10 minutes. Then in the morning done a light re-application, let dry for 10 minutes and finally a very soft wipe with lint-free towel to give the desired gloss level. Good luck, Solution Finish is pretty dang awesome stuff.

Now if Chevy Avalanche owners could figure out how to use the internet then they could repair that horrific plastic GM used to trim the back half of their ugly vehicles!

How long does the application last?
I've easily gone 2 years between even feeling like I wanted to do another application. So about 600 days of rain? Assuming that it's less durable in full sun (which I clearly won't have up here). Application takes minutes and you can't harm your paint, so just re-apply annually if you're in a hot environment.

Have tested this product on spare trim pieces and used a knife to see how deep it penetrates.... Let's just say that it will please the fairer sex.

Using just a spare rag for application, i've had a few dabs of this stuff just keep spreading and spreading. Insane how much coverage you get from just a few drops. 1oz will last a Bronco owner for a decade.

Hat tip: I've posted it before, but they now make a gray trim restorer. Haven't used it, but as gray plastics are more common now (not sure why!), it will probably be a great product coming from them.

Nice, thank you for the in depth review and its long term use.

My 2011 Tacoma trim pieces are very faded and it looks bad. This would be a great test to try it out on before i sell it next spring to get ready for the Bronco.

I have read some folks use a rubber prep before using this.Is that needed or just snake oil to get more money?

You could use that as your $18 isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Or just use regular $1 IPA.

Going to spitball here, but because it's not difficult at all to restore faded black plastic here in 2020 (imagine what's possible in 2021 or 2022 when these reach customers!).

At this point in human history, if you can't restore faded black plastic in mere moments with a chemical then the failure is on you, nobody else.

Oh wow, $15 and enough product to restore the faded fenders on about 100 JEEP's. Yet somehow their owners couldn't figure it out.....

I’m good with the Carbonized Gray tops, if you didn’t know already ?

INCOMING FORD CEO SPEAKS ON THE 2021 BRONCO

Bronco Nation spoke exclusively with incoming Ford CEO, Jim Farley, on Friday at the Michigan Assembly Plant where the first early, pre-production 2021 Ford Broncos have begun to roll off the assembly line.

As an avid collector of historic Ford vehicles and the owner of a Gen 1 Bronco himself, Farley has had an affinity for the iconic nameplate now in its sixth generation. When asked about his initial impression of the Rapid Red Wildtrak Bronco adjacent to us, he said “It’s a breakthrough product for Ford, we’re finally getting back to our roots, and I’m so proud of the team.” Farley went on to speak to the daily usability of the vehicle beyond its off-road prowess. “It’s really a terrific vehicle because it has all the off-road capability that almost no one else has but it has the daily use and thoughtfulness of an open-air experience without leaving everything in your garage that no one else can match. It’s a breakthrough product.”

Years of work have gone into this new Bronco with many iterations, design changes, hurdles, and victories. When we asked the incoming CEO what attribute or feature he is most proud of on Bronco, he said, “For me, some people love the design, of course, but for me it’s the off-road equipment. [Bronco’s] real capability. We have better approach and departure angles, you know that’s what I love most about the vehicle, its capability, it’s not a show horse.” That is certainly a statement that rings true though the rigorous durability testing we have witnessed from Johnson Valley to Moab; this vehicle is an off-road monster.

With the recent news regarding Bronco paint colors, we’d be remiss if we didn’t ask Farley what color he plans to order. While he hasn’t decided a specific color quite yet, he did say, “It’s gotta be blue”. We certainly can see why he’s a fan of blue.

The Ford veteran started his tenure at Ford back in November of 2007 after leaving Toyota and has since served in many capacities both in the U.S. and abroad, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Farley will assume his new role as Chief Executive Officer of the Blue Oval on October 1st, entering at a critical and exciting time for the auto manufacturer. We look forward to speaking with Mr. Farley again soon as we move one week closer to the Bronco hitting dealer

Oh, I got it.

It's just that your personal opinion for black tops is irrelevant.

FWIW, the gray will fade as well. And Solution Finish makes a product to restore that as well. You're covered on all bases!

Thanks for your valued input, keyboard warrior.
See page 10 and 11 which provided assistance to people wondering how they could care for the black top you told them would fade. Then get back to me with the assistance you have provided beyond dire warnings.
