Spacers and perches and taller springs are essentially inexpensive lifts for the street and easy dirt roads, which is where the majority of Broncos will do the majority of their miles. To lift the truck properly in a way that actually improves the suspension for any kind of serious off-roading you need to go with new complete longer travel coilovers, which then requires UCA’s, maybe trailing arms, maybe new cv axles etc etc. It’s expensive to do it correctly. That’s why most people don’t, and they probably don’t need to. If you want to lift your non-Sasquatch Bronco buy someone’s SAS suspension who is changing out …. Like we are! If you just want your truck taller for the mall wait for replacement progressive rate spring’s. At least that way you might improve the ride quality a little.

So…. I just want it to look cool, and still wheel decent… not rock crawling. Just, trails, gravel roads, hill climbs, desert, etc. Are these fine for that? Still have the lockers for traction.

I have the RPG Collars on my Bronco with their other bits, and I’ll be running it until more Coilover options come later down the road. No rubbing with 37x12.50s on a 17x9-12. Also I haven’t had a chance to really wheel it yet but as you see from my pictures that the ability to travel hasn’t been affected and the CV angles aren’t bad compared to other lifts we’ve seen.

I am by no means an expert mechanic, but have installed multiple Carli kits on previous trucks and this perch collar kit seams to be a little involved. Correct me if I’m wrong. Really wish they or someone would do a install video.

Refer to instructions for the Zone 3"/4" lift kits. They include preload spacers (perch collar). Just ignore the parts about the bump stop and strut spacers.

The inner rim machining of those method beadlocks is really trick. Looks like a really strong inner bead area.

Currently running their Billet Upper Control arms, but waiting on a Set of the Upper and Lower Trailing Arms and Tierod Outers. Waiting for custom anodizing.

I’ll reach out to RPG and see what we can do, I would have made one when I installed but dealer threw them on to save me some time.

Just got mine today and reached out to them. Does the dealer have any steps? Hoping my dealer can do them without instructions

The Anvill Truck Guy ?? (think that's his name, he is on here as well) on you tube who built the Yellow truck for SEMA, has a video on installing the BDS or Zone kit , which has spacers and perch collars , he shows installing the perch collars. Basically you have to compress spring take off spring and bottom perch, then add spaces collar to space up bottom perch, and re assemble. Its kind of involved.

When I do mine ill prolly just take the assembled coil overs to a suspension shop to install perches, then put assembled coils back on myself.

I wonder why they don’t do a split collar like the Raptors?

Problem with a spring perch collar like this is it just adds preload without accounting for spring coil bind. Most OE coil springs cannot have preload added like these without a bump extension like the Zone 3” & 4” kits have to properly limit the spring. With these RPG perch collar lifts they will cause spring fatigue and eventually loose lift since the spring has extra stress on it.

Also in my opinion if you have to reference instructions of someone else’s kit because the one you want to buy doesn’t provide instruction or aren’t clear, then it’s probably not a very good product.

I think this makes the perfect Wheel to fender gap with the 35”…. 37” will make it look stuffed like the factory Sas lift… with 35” does….to me at least? 🤷🏻‍♂️
