When walking by my car in the driveway or garage, I’ve noticed on several occasions a clicking sound like the doors being unlocked. My keys are not in my pocket, but I suppose within range inside the house. A similar issue occurred when I went into a store, but my wife stayed in the Bronco. She heard somewhat of a door locking sound a few times while I was gone. Any ideas?

My Ram 1500 does this after shutting down and sitting for one or two minutes. It is basically the system shutting/opening vents and grill shutters, putting them into a "parked" mode.

Probably normal, my Rager makes all kinds of strange sounds at times.

I wonder if it has anything to do if the fordpass app is setup and it's detecting the phone. Either that or it senses that somebody is nearby without a key and makes sure the doors are locked, STRANGER DANGER!!!

Mine, too. My F150 has always made weird random sounds, too.

Once, as my wife walked right past the Bronco, I hit the alarm button on the key fob from our bedroom. That was fun.

Probably normal. My wife’s 2021 explorer makes a bunch of sounds after it has been turned off for a bit. I hear them all the time when I am washing it.

Our Bronco makes more weird random snorts, farts, clicks and clacks than another vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Mine also Will make strange noises after a few moments when engine is off. So I assume that is normal.

Did you ever figure it out? Just got our Bronco and can hear it click like a door lock. It seems to happen several times in an hour.

The Bronco does make some odd noises for a bit after it’s turned off. If you think you heard an unlock sound and don’t have your key in your pocket there’s an easy way to test that…

A locking sound is pretty distinctive. I’ve never heard one of those. That is, a random one I didn’t initiate.

Sounds like a relay. I hear it whenever I open a door, and again a minute or so after I close the door. Suspect it's the relay "waking" the vehicle electronics up and shutting them down again.

It's the electronic brake booster making the clicking noises. Completely normal operation.
