All the existing black accents are the issue for me. I’m the original bronco, accents were chrome, which worked great with the blue and white paint. With the modern bronco there is too much black mixed in with all the white accents. I think painted fenders would help. There’s just too much going on right now.

I ordered Are 51 on my Bronco every time I see this color in photos it really doesn’t do it justice. It is so much darker in person.
My FE is Area 51 also, and I stumbled across it by accident . I originally ordered a CG badlands. When I was first reserving my Bronco , I never in my wildest imagination thought I would like Area 51 by looking at the build and price photos, but when I saw it on a real Bronco in real life, I fell in love with the color and I am so glad I got it instead of the carbonized Gray. It along with most of the new colors changes in the various light conditions ,and Area 51 , always changes for the best. Love this color.

Solid take. Not an ounce of black on my 1969 except light gaskets… Back when the only thing plastic was the dash cover and door handle wells.

I really, really like the white accents. I really, really don't like the wheels and the grille as I think they over the top but hey, as long as you like it.

I think they over-did the white on the bronco. I would have stopped at the white wheels and grill and white painted the top. That to me is as retro white as you need to go.

Agree. Removed mirror wrap, painted tow shackles black and took white trail guides stickerfabs off. The whole process helped me learn about “too much white”. I like where the retro is landing now.

Love this build! Great job and I love the heritage look. The nostalgia makes me consider changing the color of my order to either Area 51 so I could do something similar or changing to white and doing a baby blue two tone wrap. Looks great and thanks for sharing!
