Can anyone tell what the left and right tubular devices are inside top rollbar?

Silver tubes on outside and electrical connectors on the inside. My best guess is heat/ac because of the tubes but I've never seen any like that.

99% sure those are rolled up airbags. Top curtain? I don't know that headliner airbags have a common name. Looks to be in lieu of side curtain or seat mounted side bags.

Airbags would bey guess. Sure looks like it imo....

Can someone with knowledge of the production process explain why the hood would be attached during production and not just added after the engine work is completed? Seems like an unnecessary hazard for the workers.
Always done this way. They lower the body onto the chassis with engine already assembled then it goes down the line and gets everything hooked up. Hood is never in the way.
