What are the 2 rectangular "boxes" on the tailgate that look like will be under the spare?

So that's like not even halfway through the first shift. Think that's going to make a difference?
They can put together 300 in half a day or half a week, it’s still the experience of putting together that many number of vehicles. Experience is experience.?

I'm a little bummed that the Ford emblem on the tail gate is riveted or bolted on and that they made and indentation for it. I typically de-badge my vehicles but oh well...I'll live
I know I've seen it stated there won't be any Blue Oval badging on the Bronco. More incorrect info.

Can someone with knowledge of the production process explain why the hood would be attached during production and not just added after the engine work is completed? Seems like an unnecessary hazard for the workers.
The engine is installed from the bottom so the hood is not in the way.

That would've been nice. Sort of like they do with the Mustang. It also seems to be in sort of a random spot.

Could be reading too far into it because there’s a glare and part of the picture is blurred, but that MIC top in the second to last pic looks distinctly more dark than previous MIC tops we’ve seen.
Me too. Here’s to hoping for a molded top in black- that actually matches the other parts. Please Ford!

Would be amazing to see a video like this. Camera pans out a reveals the ford robots demolishing Jeeps. Oscar worthy.
Get the Grand Tour gang to narrate best documentary easy...

I mean these pre-production models all get crushed anyway.

It really does even under those assembly/warehouse lights. My opinion has changed to include silver as a potential contender. I've always been in the camp of silver only belongs on European cars. Maybe not this time.
Gotta see how it looks with the different wheel options but I’m digging it.

The way most of them are done now..the engine gets in from the bottom...the doors come off for a while ..until the interior is close to done and then they put the doors back on...I believe the hood is pushed back all the way...

If they just had to put the Ford name badge on it and embed it, I think it would've been a cool (and better looking) homage to stamp FORD in to the tailgate like the original. I guess they saved that idea for the pullout tray on the 4 door...

It is a nice yellow, and would look sharp with a white top, but that looks to be a production tool covering the areas susceptible to scratches. Looks like a plastic form covering some of the areas.
Yeah it was a poor attempt at sarcasm
