We're merely speculating since that's all we have.

Mine's soft top, no airbag recall... 13 weeks Friday.

Some of these are also being held for Microchips.

At least this explains why I haven't heard a thing about my two door 2.7L. Shame this info has to come from a forum and not Ford.
exactly... Hey Lex, how did you know that?

dealer knows nothing... tracker has been the same since August... no communication from Ford whatsoever
I hope you hear soon. My MIC OBX 2.7 went into production July 22, and it was a long radio silence until I heard from Ford it was the MIC top. It was finally "Built", then shipped October 8, delivered 10/19, I'm picking it up tomorrow from my SC dealer.

Others are saying your delay may be the engine. My experience with the 2.7 over 5 years in my F-150 is that its powerful, reliable, good on fuel and peppy, which is why I ordered it in my Bronco. Hopefully yours gets fixed or replaced.

Agreed. Something is up with the softies but gets pushed under the MIC 2.0 rug.
Maybe using soft tops for temporary before mic 2.0 change or waiting to add accessories?

Nah, they had all the chips in hand prior to start of production. It's be nice if They'd just say.

Thats the thing, you are wrong. I just had a nice conversation with the Logistics Company at Wayne, mine got pulled off to wait for a chip replacement, got sent back last week to be replaced, and is being replaced this week.

Has anyone figured out why the hell they decided to keep the biggest pile of dirt next to all the new vehicles?
I was wondering the same thing. In Wyoming those cars would be sandblasted by the big dirt pile from the wind.
That area is where the old Willow Run Ford Bomber Plant was. After the war it was sold to Keiser then GM. It was closed during the 2008 downturn and torn down a few years ago. the dirt pile is part of the cleanup/redevelopment process. you need to remove any contaminated dirt and back fill with clean dirt.

That honesty makes no sense. Why would you build Broncos down the assembly line all day with "microchips" just to have a lot full of units waiting for them? If this is true Ford needs to go back to the basics as this would account for roughly 5 of the 7 types of waste.

I think several people have mentioned potential issues with the 2.7L valves. This seems more likely to be the cause as my soft top Bronco has been "in production" since 9/3 and all modules are populating.

@Ford Motor Company communication would be great!

Mine was built - pulled off the lot - and then brought back to have the chip replaced. Probably a QC issue.

When was yours built? If they are doing that currently, they are more incompetent than I had assumed and all logic has ceased.

Also how long were you waiting on yours? This week makes 7 for me.

Built Email 9/25. Build week 9/6 (9/10 blend), didn’t go into production until 9/16. No updates since, only reason I know is because I made all those calls today.

Well who knows. Maybe mine is waiting on a new module (chiped part). I would actually prefer that rather than a motor swap. I may never know.

Well, it may be interesting to see how this ties in with Dirt Mountain 2.1...
