Looks like tire smoke as the Jeep tries to claw itself out using the Bronco as an anchor. Looks like he somehow got off line (slipped maybe). You can see his right track is center of the line he's supposed to be on. Stuff happens. Glad the Bronco made it up ahead of him and could give him a mount point for his winch!

Not sure about this one... the jeep is more than capable and more likely this is an error on the part of the driver and/or spotter. Fun marketing image though.

Don’t worry bro, no ones dissing on your beloved Jeep. Drivers will inherently always be less capable than the vehicle.

Reminds me of a Motorcycle Trip we took to Idaho. Came upon a fellow BMW Bike Rider with a dead battery. Defective alternator. Felt good to help a fellow traveler in need, also felt kind of good towing him to town Riding a 2003 Road King Harley. Anybody been around boating knows this story and OFF Road people are no different when it comes to helping fellow rock crawlers.

This obstacle is called the Escalator and is very tricky. Getting up has a lot to do with experience of the driver. It is more difficult with short wheelbase vehicles. One of the other videos posted in this forum earlier today shows the Bronco going up it forwards and then backwards.

Regardless, the Jeep Wrangler and Bronco are very capable vehicles that can conquer the Escalator stock with the right driver behind the wheel.

Smoking the tires.
Looks like the Bronco is an anchor point and the Jeep is trying to drive out of it with winch.
If thats the top of hell’s gate, that climb can get sketchy and it’s a long way down. Gotta stay safe.

Yup give it enough time and you'll see Jeeps helping Broncos - but the way I see it, the more people you can get into the outdoors the more people will want to preserve it, regardless of what they drive.

I really hope all the new off road folks keep on preserving our beautiful land?
