Interior is in really nice condition and redone to factory specs it looks like, I can post pics if anyone is interested, a roll bar was added inside and appears to have had a 2 “ lift done, pretty much new looking inside and out, and underneath, appears to have been driven about 2000 miles since complete restoration, reman motor was also installed at that time according to documents

Having been in the automotive business for 37 years and my last company did metal fabrication and prototyping, I had a number of clients who would spend $500,000 for complete builds. Now this normally was for extensively modified Rods and Customs, along with race car rebodying and chassis building. So spending this kind of money on restoration is certainly possible. Everything we did was billed as time and material and my shop rate was $100 per hour. Now this being said, who in their right mind would spend that kind of money on an 89 Bronco II, unless of course they lost their virginity in it or some other epic moment in their life.

Here’s the damage

Back in the 90's a co-worker of mine use to own a Bronco II. He was often breaking stuff off-road though, but at least he put in the effort, lol. He smashed that large back side window on a rock outcropping.

So glad I got to enjoy the 4x4 and off-roading hobby before gentrification set and the scene jumped the shark with these big spenders showing up.

Is that hail damage?

Now I have to say, you have considerable advantages over a 6G purchase;

- your valves will not pop on that engine
- your roof looks solid
- you know how much oil to replace during a change
- no turbos to worry about
- no electronics that require an extended warranty
- your factory warranty expired so you know who is going to pay for repairs
- no airbags that may kill you
- your windows don't get caught during open/close
- you get to use regular unleaded
- you got AMD (additional market discount) instead of ADM (additional dealer markup)
you get my drift! :ROFLMAO:

Haha that’s funny, I have a 2022 Wildtrack I ordered and is in garage that I got at MSRP but my 2023 Bronco Raptor is in Production now and had to pay a $10k markup, insane but got to pay to play I guess

I might end up around 60k all in on this one, everything professionally done over 2 years. The only thing I did was disassemble it. So 112 is crazy!. Full disclosure- I had an 84 Bronco II with a 4 speed manual, it was a little beast and chicks dug it

That is the kind of money you spend if you get a big inheritance or win the lottery. And you wonder why some people blow through their windfalls so fast...

Hell, yes, we want to see what $100k+ gets you. More pictures!

I did a full rotisserie concourse restoration on my 69 Bronco Sport and only have 50-60k in it. But look at that reflection. LOL
