You can get the MGV in the Badlands as well. Just can't get the High Package.
You meant Black Diamond I presume? That’s my sticking point I want the high package and hate the BD rims so was going to go OB but I don’t love the flares or the 32” tires. I wasn’t interested in the vinyl but the more I think about it, it’s pretty awesome. BD is a good deal and makes more sense as we’re new to a 4X4 vehicle so the badlands is overkill. But tires can’t be larger on BD due to suspension, changing rims is an aftermarket cost ($1000-1200ish?) plus we lose the high package. Or go OB and just leave it be or go badlands and spend the extra 6K where lost of the stuff will go unused lol.

Can anybody tell me which is better? i hear people saying vinyl will make you sweat more than leather? is that true? would vinyl stand up to dog claws better than leather?
I think a lot depends on the quality of the leather. I've had Fords with leather and it is no where near as nice or durable as in my Audi. Leather will tend to get 'Abrasions' from the dog claws and the vinyl could 'Slice' depending on the density. If it truly is like we see in the boats we take our dogs in it should be OK.

After seeing the marine grade this week, I think it actually looks nice. It's not plastic or glossy looking and I think looks good in the BL interior spec.

Lots of complaints about the seats on this forum but
I think you guys are going to be very pleased with the seats...I know I was.
As long as I can get these seats and interior? I'll be happy! ?

Another vinyl seat photo (and feedback) by @BellyRat

Got to put my hands on the vinyl seats today. They are a lot softer than I thought. Definitely softer than leather. They look and feel fantastic. A leather upgrade would be a waste of money.

Most importantly is which material will hold up better to big dog paws ? I'll probably end up with seat covers anyway

Black vinyl brings back memories of my black pinto with vinyl seats...no AC. Please tell me there are other color options. Black seats in Florida is not a winning combo.

Yes it does , way better my GC had nice leather and by end of lease back seat had dog claw scratches all over them . I had to re spray leather before I turned it in . My wife’s car has nice Cream color vinyl seats and no dog nail scratches at all and Stains just wipe right off .

They are gray. I wish they were lighter, but at least they're not black.

Our dog leaves claw marks on the leather. He leaves no marks jumping off an on the seats of our boat

what about sweat?
I’ve never had a problem with wet ass sitting on her seats . My leather in my GC always seemed hotter and more sticky to me . I will 100% be going vinyl.
Plus after 3 years the leather was wearing and had small cracks in drivers seat , hers looks Exactly the same as they were when we bought the car over three years ago
