I am not comfortable with that attachment point. I will be upgrading my FE 4 door with a frame attached Rock Slider. IFS vehicles can overcome some serious rocks with rock sliders. It's a mandatory item for me especially for anything with more than a 100" wheelbase.
That back seat is going to be incredible compared with what I sat back in the 90s for sure!

I hope they beef up those hinges! I saw this when reviewing the pics and thought the same as you...This gap on the rear gate is concerning...I know this is probably a test rig, and has been through some tough terrain, but looks like the door is sagging...anyone concerned about the weight of the 35" tire on the door hinges??

I can assure you that car seats will be a pain in a two door, especially when rear facing. The carrier/base type seat will be your best bet because you buckle the kid in first, then load the whole carrier onto the base that's fixed to the seat. BUT, if you just have a basic rear facing seat, you will probably have to crawl into the back seat with the kid to strap them in. Then, once you factor in all the stuff babies need, a 4 door is unfortunately your best bet.
