Hey, I've had a short antenna (6 3/4") for a while now. I replaced my pillar lights with 6" round ones. Somewhat of a value light set (cheap).

When the lights are on.... I get static on the radio.

Any thought on shielding? Better antenna or light....

That's common with LED lights. You can try some ferrite rings. Sometimes those will help. But that's just the nature of LED lights and the power and your radio signal. They interfere with each other

Yes, no doubt. I'm going to check the light cable routing, it may be laying next or near the antenna connection. If not, I'll try to shield it. Thanks for ur response.
