Had a great time doing some inaugural light/moderate off-roading in our 2.7 Badlands. Air downed the tires to 26 psi. I was so impressed with its capability and how the Bronco performed. We did some higher speed desert driving and several miles on trail 2N02. Ran in 4H, Sand, mud/ruts and Baja modes. It was so fun to see the different tuning packages of the GOAT modes. Can’t wait to attend the off rodeo! Taking her to the car wash after was very gratifying and seeing how the Bronco is truly an off road and on road joy to drive! #

Great post! This is the exact trail ride I plan to take once I get delivery.
I did this same ride with a group of Jeep Liberty's about 18 years ago. I haven't owned a 4x4 since. I'm looking forward to exploring this area again!
I even picked up my copy of "Guide to California Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails" to see what other fun moderate desert trails I can explore.

Where did you get those classic Bronco emblems on your fenders? They look great!

We just took burns canyon road today. You are right it handled great. My son and I decided to take the road from Big Bear after a day of snowboarding. It doubled the drive time but was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to try it in the snow.

Great post! Looks like we have the same exact build. I have a 3/21 build date so hoping to have mine by April.

Discovered Pioneertown and that trail just before shutdown and planning on running when I get my Bronco too. Plan on catching a show and some grub at Pappy & Harriet's.

I have a 4-door base 2.7 with 32" tires and no lift. Is this a trail I could attempt?
