I like the old school look of the tall skinny tires, but don’t know much about them. What size or brand do you recommend for the Base model?

We can't reccomend an upsize until we have vehicles to measure the stock tire clearance at full lock and flex.

255/85R16 looks and works well on the Toyota Tacoma .
Which is about the same size and GVW as a Bronco.
But again, this will be an unknown unknown until we get Broncos in the wild.

This is true. Just wanted to get an idea. Thanks!

I don't like my tires wider than 285mm and I've been asking BFG to make taller 285mm tires for years. Anyway, I would stick with something like the 255mm suggested above.

I used to run 33x10.5 tires, which are 265mm and really liked them. They were about perfect for a Jeep Wrangler, in my opinion. I think they'd be the cat's meow on the Bronco too.

Now, if the 285/85/17 becomes more popular, I'll go that route; although I may go with a Swamper/SSR in 35x10.5

255/80-17 will work and look great. The only bad thing about that size is they are all LT rated so they add some weight. Not drastic but it should be noted. Falken Wildpeaks are available in that size.

Another popular option I have seen is Kenda Klever RTs. The Gladiator gang love them. I actually bought a set in 33x10.5x17 for my Gladiator. But the weight that one of the tire sites stated was way off. I ended up going with the Kenda Klever AT2 in P285/70-17 to save weight.

Here are the Kenda Klever RTs that I ended up returning. Very nice tire.

I will be following everyone’s progress on tall and skinny. They are definitely on my watch list for a winter tire. Wide=bad performance on ice as a general rule. Plus the tall and skinny looks cool!

I’m been thinking 235/85R16 KO2s of the retro wheel made by The FJ Company. Although, I believe what’s pictured are KM3s
