Placed order. Got email and nothing further

I ordered this one to replace my other one in a few years..But watch I will cut in front of the line for some reason and get it in a month or two..

OP, thanks for starting this thread. I was going to wait another week or so before asking the same question. I got the Ford email within minutes of watching the dealer submit the order, but my ford.com account doesn't show that anything is in queue. I'm glad to hear that this is typical and not new. I realize that my couple of week's of waiting is nothing compared to those who put in reservations early on, and I honestly hope those folks get theirs first.

I got my confirmation email right after placing my order as well. I called Ford's website support the other day about my dealer order not showing on my Ford account after a week or two. They told me since I placed an order and didn't have a previous reservation, it won't show anything until I get a build date, this is also the reason the Off Rodeo won't see my order as well until the build date is assigned. Hope this helps!

I guess the new part is we have to wait 8+ months just get a production date and hope that the build week doesn't move. Used to be able to just submit an order and expect the vehicle to show up 2-4 months later.

Granted the Bronco is so popular that a 2-4 month wait was probably never realistic, even in the "normal" times. But probably safe to assume all of July 2020 reservation holders would have had build dates by now. Instead many of the day one reservation holders are still waiting for dates.

It is definitely a different world after the pandemic, supply chain issues and the Webasto fiasco.
