I cannot stress this enough, don't get a vehicle you can't get out of. 0% down and 84 months financing means you are upside down from the time you sign. You won't get to have equity in it for many years. Things happen and sometimes you have to liquidate assets, not gonna happen if you're upside down. If people don't learn in times like these, they never will... (shit happens, don't play in it)

I understand interest and I understand cash flow. I keep my vehicles for a long time. Plus the 21 Denali is MAYBE going to get interior updates, not a bumper to bumper overhaul.

What, exactly, are interior updates on a GM vehicle? Do they just move where the rattle comes from?

I don't know about the Denali, but my 2001 Sonoma was actually a pretty good little truck.

Well, the interior started to rattle around 30k miles, the handle to open the rear door broke twice, and it ate keys (the resistor in the key would break and the truck would randomly not start until you disconnected the battery for a few minutes). But in 140k miles, I only had to replace the alternator and the fuel pump (in addition to the standard oil changes and tire replacement).

But other than that, it was a good little truck.

Ranger and Tacoma - If the pricing falls on the TRD Pros that might actually become Plan A. I can play the waiting game so we'll see what I end up with.

Now that is awesome, may not be the best daily driver though. Would probably be a nightmare in Austin traffic, well when traffic returns.
