I put this in my KRAKEN build thread, but thought I would post here as well for more visibilty.
Painted KRAKEN's roll bar with Plasti Dip; color "black & blue". Was planning to wrap the roll bar, but after a close inspection of the roll bar's many welds, spot welds, holes, & slots I decided to just Plasti Dip it. Was going to do it black and then I found the black & blue color which plays well with my stripes & rockers. I removed the roof latch plates, speakers, and window molle brackets and installed temporary screws in all the threaded holes. I did not remove any plastic panels and just taped & draped everything which was a big pain in the @ss, but I got it done. I used two cans of Plasti Dip and got 4 good coats with a little left for touch up. Wish I had another can for a couple more coats. If you do this, plan on needing three cans.
