Poll: hard top color preference demographics

Some quick statistics with the current totals with 305 responses:

In the under 30 segment:
29% want a white top
64% want a black or gray top (MIC or painted)
Just 7% want a body color top

31 to 40 yro:
35% want a white top
51% want a black or gray top (MIC or painted)
13% want a body color top

41 and up:
44% want a white top
44% want a black or gray top (MIC or painted)
11% want a body color top

Really surprised how popular the white top is with all segments. Wonder how it will be with the general population i.e. owners who aren't Bronco enthusiasts online!

Just in general reading throughout the forum I would have thought the number that wanted a painted hard top would be higher.

Definitely want the body color top if they have it for the 2dr.
Then want to get a black soft top to go along with it.

I tell you what. I don't like red vehicles in general. But this has me seriously reconsidering that. If they don't do a light blue I may consider race red if they do offer a white top.

It would be nice if you could pick the top color from the available body paint colors. Velocity blue body with Iconic Silver top would be a pretty slick combo .

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I'm surprised to learn I'm in a significant minority wanting a body color hardtop.

Then I guess the Black/Grey - given it doesn't cost extra.

No interest in paying extra to get a colored roof. Based on the CGI, it doesn't look that good to me. It may look better live - but who knows when that will be...
