I think if it was similar to the 2 door J6 that Jeep brought out to MOAB last you, I’d want to check it out. Quite honestly, if Jeep actually produced that J6, I’d probably buy it.

id cut the roof off a pickup before id buy thatI would, but it be as a secondary driver, possible daily. Not the adventure mobile tho!

if Ford could build off the 4-dr chassis, but only have 2-dr/2 seats, then I think it would be better proportions. The 4-dr back seat space combined with the cargo space could be the truck bed. Have the spare tire relocated into the truck bed and have a proper fold down tailgate. That would be the best of all possibilities, IMO.
Outfit the bed with a Decked drawer system and have a rack over it for a RTT. It would be a sweet overlanding rig.

For my family it would need to have two rows. With well planned bulkhead/roof layout on a four-door body it could even be a two-row SUV with suicide doors that converts to a one-row pickup. Fold the rear seats up just ahead of the C pillar behind the suicide doors and pull the top off. Boom now it's a pickup.I would, but it be as a secondary driver, possible daily. Looks great to me. I have had 30 years of ownership of Ford pickups with a regular (2 door) cab and always wanted a short(er) bed (and wheelbase) and am now wanting 4WD. I'm ready.
P.S. While we're wishing,, you can lose the MIC top and replace with body colored metal.
