I have read through several threads about upgrading to the Lux package, which happens to be the only package to include the Universal Garage Door Opener.

So I was wondering where most people will be parking their Broncos at home.

I don't want to debate whether the UGDO should be standard on a $40-50k vehicle, or not included because this is an off-road vehicle, or an ala carte option, or Ford's marketing techniques to push people to higher trim levels. I understand where everyone is coming from...Maybe things will change for MY2022. :)

I'm getting Lux for a few reasons, but the fact that HomeLInk is only part of that package is ridiculous.

Outside, either driveway or parking lot, depending on who leaves first and if it's summer it'll be in the lot because there is a tree next to my driveway that constantly drops leaves and other crap.

One-car garage isn't big enough. Neighbors Edge just barely fits in his identical garage.

Wifes car always gets the garage. Already raised the storage racks over the current CRV so the new Beast fits in. Trying to figure out how to store the hardtop in the garage when that comes off. Ceiling isnt high enough. maybe 'll put it in her walk in closet.

I need to clear some space, but hopefully it gets into the garage (even though the Bronco will likely be the most loved, the Mrs. gets the 1st garage spot, no questions asked). I really need a shed for some of the lawn equipment, but the Bronco, AC/Furnace and new driveway have maxed my 2021 budget.

I am getting LUX, but mine will be parking in the driveway. Two Car garage is all ready very full with one Corvette, 5 Harleys and Tool box and such.

3 stall garage and it’ll be front and center (hopefully). May need to re-jigger some stuff and move the f150 crew over one spot but it’s going inside one way or another.

So, what you're saying is you will be sleeping in your Bronco.

There has just got to be a way to connect EGDO thru an Aux switch that's killed without ignition on or something....

In my driveway. My Mustang has dibs on the garage. It's a two car garage, but with my workbench, tools & Shelving. It's about a 1 & a 1/2. ;)
