My oversight...I guess I considered Carport = Outside (Other)
No worries, but in sunny places there is a huge difference between a vehicle being "outside" in the paint-fading, upholstery-eating sun, and being in a shady "carport".😁

Five (5) Harleys......

.......so maybe you’ll have one that is roadworthy at any given time......I joke, I joke. As a multi vintage BMW and Moto Guzzi owner, I resemble that remark.
Actually, all five are road worthy, two are my wife's. I put more miles on my main bike in a year than my daily driver. My 28 month old Harley has 47,340 miles on it.

But yea, you always own two Harleys so you always have one you can ride.

Garage using clip on opener until I can investigate ordering a replacement visor with the homelink.

I’ve got the cheap route I just put the app on my phone and open and close the door with my cell phone. Seems to be a lot cheaper than buying a Lux package.

Jeep only has 1/2 inch clearance to get in, so one small bounce can be bad, problem is wife has got use to parking in middle of 2 car 1 door garage and I'm afraid she will hit the bronco!!

Ford should have included UGDO on Mid package.

Opting for Lux for the opener is asinine.
The opener Ford includes is simply a Homelink module in the Driver's visor... cheap as shit IMHO. Had 'em before, they don't last long and have a shitty signal due to placement.

A homelink mirror can be had relatively cheap:
https://www.voxxelectronics.com/gentex/homelink-connect/

They are actually not half bad and can be added after the fact to nearly anything.

The visor can also likely be made to work, if one is purchased from parts. I did a cursory search, and they appear to be ~$300 - for a visor with a cheap ass homelink visor module, give me a break! The only difficulty there would be powering the module in the visor. If the pigtail/power is already there, it may be simple. If not, running the power/ground and fusing is probably wouldn't be terribly difficult.

I'll be purchasing a mirror if I get sick op the iPhone app that I currently use as an opener. Hell, who knows, the app may even work with the touch screen and Sync?

Anyone have any experience with Chamberlain MyQ and Sync compatibility?

Barely fits my narrow and long single car garage... if I wasn't a walking stick figure(6' 170lbs), I'd have issues.

Garage! Bronco Billy will be my new baby 😊 The hubs F-150 doesn't fit in the garage anyway so he gets the driveway.

Wife's vehicle always gets the garage. When/if MY Bronco ever comes it will be outside in the elements on the driveway.

Unfortunately there's no room at the inn. The Slanty-Shanty is already occupied.
