I do not want to install a permanent air compressor in my vehicle so I am looking for a portable one. I am looking at the VIAIR 400P. Does anyone use this model? And if so, what has been your experience with it? Looking for recommendations for what other folks are using. Appreciate any feedback.

I had one of these but returned it. It took way to long to inflate my 35 inch tires. I also had trouble connecting to the tire valve.. The valves seats are very short from the wheel. The Moorflte kits fit without needing any extenders on the tire valves.
I ended up getting the Moorflate compresserand 4 tire kit.
That compressor can ONLY do 4 tires at a time. You can also deflate all 4 at a time with the quad kit. https://morrflate.com/shop/air-sour...-tensix-portable-12v-off-road-air-compressor/
The inflate kits are sold by length if you have a 2 door or 4.
I didn't get the built in gauge but it would be useful because you have to watch the Tire Pressure Moniting system on the bronco dash, which is delayed in showing the readings so I often overfill slightly. I probably would get the gauge now.
I hope this is helpfull

I also got the TenSix after using a friends on a trail ride. Definitely worth it, aired up all 4 sasquatch tires in a few minutes. It also comes with a bag and gloves.

Been using my Viair 400P for about 15 years. Still going strong even fills up (4) 37's at the same time through my SpeedFlate. Not the fastest but works for me YMMV

Another vote for the Viair 400P. Had mine for 11 years and used it a lot. Never an issue.

This is a good bet. I use a dewalt version myself since I have a bunch of their 20V batteries around.
I also use the DeWalt version. It is awesome, you can use batteries or plug into the vehicle. I use it for my vehicles, bikes, pool floats, balls, etc.
