I don't think any dealer is going to cancel the order if a customer cancels.

Do you think if a Bronco shows up and the customer doesn't want it they offer to send it back to Ford?

If a customer cancels they should cancel period. Put it this way. Let’s say this was Canada and they were NOT allowed ADM. They would have the option of further pushing a reservation holder down the line or having a stock vehicle they could only sell for MSRP. If you ran a dealership what would you do? This is clearly a money play that pisses off loyal reservation holders.

it was built dec 8. but they were short chips. once they finally got chips 3/20 it shipped the 3/22. I got it 4/8, it moved fast to Portland.

We're not in Canada.
They are going to make a happy customer when they sell it. And they will make a couple bucks. They are in business to make money and it's been rough.
Am I mad that this puts me one Bronco back in their line? Not really.

If Damerow not cancelling an order that a customer in front of you told them to cancel pushing you further back in line does not bother you then I completely understand your viewpoint lol

As much crap as has gone on with the Bronco, some of it Ford's fault, some of it the dealer's fault, some of it the customer's fault and some of it because some bat sneezed, so yeah, I'm not going to let one more Bronco get made and sold before me affect me.

Vancouver ford, just wanted to say to the owner of their new area51 wildtrak today. Glad you decided to finally pick it up. Because if not we were going to buy it.

we have an order with them honoring on paper msrp. Don’t see it coming anytime soon since we ordered iT on the last day before order banks closed.

Landmark just asked me if I wanted to remove some stuff from my order to get it built. Doesn't give me a ton of hope about this week's scheduling.

No, I declined their offer. I probably know the constraints better than they do. Two-door is the most constrained bit about my order, and it's non-negotiable.
