Positive news from MAP Ford Employee about MIC top replacements and how they are being handled.

The stickers are included in a delivery packet when cars are shipped. It is up to , and required of, dealers to install the sticker for vehicles that will be displayed. Maybe they are technically required to wet it up and install even on a special order vehicle but my dealers always just stick the sticker in the glove box, unharmed, in frameable condition.

this is about the electronic viewing of the sticker, not the actual sticker.

Are Dirt Mountain QC holds listed differently?

I think his question was about processing Dirt Mountain 2drs through the swap and final inspection again.

So, this hasn't gotten nearly enough attention this morning! I'm wondering if they're getting more efficient as they go, which I assume they are, or if we can expect a 200-300 per day volume(also assuming this is only for Tues-Thurs this week).

I'm wondering if those are production line numbers vs QC hold retrofits and if he can see them separately?

Agree...I thought the same thing but made a big assumption it was retrofits based on the thread. Probably not a good idea. I'm still hoping that our drone expert drops a pic in here showing DM half empty! It's Friday, we can be positive now!

Those are some pretty specific numbers... Well 80 two doors is not quite one day of production in August.

Well, if they were to catch up 1:1 for production, then DMSC hardtops should be completed about mid-November or so.

I'm taking this(production not retrofit) as good news as I'm at the back of the line in DM and I've been unreasonably optimistic that they'll clear them all in a matter of days and that 600 number was disappointing

Yes it’s required of the dealer to show the window sticker. But they come in the window from the factory. 6 years I’ve never seen us put them in them at all.

I think I may be one of a handful of customers whose orders have not yet been built, do not have a revised build date yet, but received an email stating that Ford expects we will get a MY21 after they cancelled a September 27 build date, and that Ford would let us know in early October. My first scheduled build date was June 14.

I have a VIN already. This implies the possibility that they will issue a new MY22 VIN if they end up having to bump me, and the current VIN may end up being a "ghost" VIN for a vehicle that will never exist.
