Last night, 7 degrees. It's 1 degree now.
Roads are sheets of ice. This why I buy very capable trucks and suvs.

The Bronco in slippery mode hardly slipped a tire. I kept my speed at 20mph

I recorded the most terrifying drive of my life driving from Grand Rapids (MI) to Cedar Lake (IN) on Friday (12/23) evening in my 4-door Sasquatch Badlands Bronco. Took 5.5 hours in what is normally a 2.5 hour drive. Google maps had me on both highway and farm country roads to avoid accidents. Solid 10 second periods of zero visibility - literally looking at the reflection of my headlights off wind driven snow in front of me. This happened basically every 2 minutes for 3 hours. There is no amount of vehicle capability that can offset those conditions. I am wiser now and will never do again (spare the lectures, I get it now). All that aside, the Bronco is a snow beast. I am grateful for how unbelievably good the traction control is. The vehicle just eats up everything in 4A.

Thought the snow packed grill looked cool on my badlands. Taken Sunday in East Aurora, NY (near Buffalo). Driving bans kept me from having too much fun this time, but I’ve parked in the yard on top of 2ft of snow without issue.

I grew up in Wisconsin so this is meh. Still no fun to be outside in though. Sledding and skiing will have to wait. Driving in the Bronco felt like any typical Tuesday. Love this thing!
