so wait a minute here. To go to the sasquatch package on the base would be 6600$ after the transmission upgrade? Seems pretty steep, when you can likely just put tires on it later for like 1000$ especially with all the disappointment with squatch not being offered on the manual. Edit: might not be too bad with the suspension upgrades and lockers. However 2500 for the badlands seems a bit ridiculous, since i saw it "confirmed" somewhere that the only difference on a badlands was the wheels and tires.

Admins, I'm sure you'll need to merge this thread with others from you guys, but I just received an email saying the Sasquatch package will be $4500-$5000 for all trims other than FE and Wildtrak.

Anyone else get this email?

I was trying to figure this out and as soon as I started to type out my question I figured it out.

So the soft top has value, it isn't "free". To get the MIC top for $700, you have to trade in your soft top. So if its $3700 for both, you have

X + (X+700) =$3700

$1500 for Soft top
$2200 for MIC top
$3400 for Modular painted top

The numbers work but one thing still doesn't make sense to me. If the prices Ford uses are $1500 for the soft top and $2200 for the MIC top, then there is an implied $1500 credit towards your top.

You can choose the soft top for free by applying your $1500 credit or you can pay $700 for the MIC by applying your credit. Those numbers work. But why $3700 for both? Shouldn't the $1500 credit be applied and the price for both be $2200? Am I missing something?

The F150 is apples and oranges. going from a 3.3 6-Cylinder to a smaller 6-cylinder with a turbo isn't the same as going from a smaller 4cyl with a turbo to a bigger 6-cylinder with a Turbo.

Not really since both are direct injection turbo engines. The NA 3.3 to a TDI is more apples and oranges than a turbo 4cyl to a turbo 6cyl. It doesn't make sense from a cost perspective.

for reference on my 19 f150 going from 2.7 to 3.5 engine was $600 just engine as A10 was standard.

In a new F-150 it says it’s $1600 not $600.

Exactly. Upgrading from the 2.7 to the 3.5 is $1600 and even that is still the same cylinder count in the upgrade.

Curious...the brochure pdf describes the Mid-package with Dual-zone electronic temperature control. I have seen some screenshots of the surveys with descriptions of the mid-package and it no longer includes the dual-zone electronic temperature control, it now just states automatic electronic temperature control. Also on the FE specifications on the bronco ford.com page the dual-zone temperature control is now listed as one of the few options available for purchase? It looks like they pulled the dual-zone feature from all packages and made it a stand alone option.

Another nugget is the upgrade to Auto Transmission is $1600 and the upgrade from 2.3 to 2.7 is $3500 and requires the auto tranny, so another $5K.

At this point, my Badlands is now at around $5300. This is before winch and roof rack.
