looks great. Do you mind sharing the shop you used and if you would recommend them? I’m in SE MI looking for some shop recommendations.
Sunshade Troy. Highly recommend.

When I got my Gladiator windows tinted I got a quote on ppf for the Bronco.

To get the hood, fenders, rockers, doors, rear quarter panels and windshield frame would be $2500. No need to do the tailgait IMO. But can't see it adding that much anyway. That comes with a 10 year nationwide warranty. More reasonable than I was expecting. And I'd easily spend that over getting ceramic coating.

There is a place in Collegeville pa about 45 min from PA-DE state line That do pretty good work. I had A-pillers and door skirts done for around 250. I had this done same day I did window tint and paid cash (20% discount) https://www.sunandshade.net/ppf-areas

I got my entire car wrapped for $3k In Suntek Armor. Guy starting up his own shop.

There were some paint damage on the Interior of tailgate from install as with the screws on the tailgate unscrewing. But to be honest, I got what I paid for and I’m fine with it. Overall its going to do what what I want which is protect parking taps, scratches, and easy to clean with a polished look. Heals in the sun. Other shops were quoting me 4K and couldn’t do the grill to upwards of 12k.
he’s coming back to fix a few areas too. Overall satisfied.
How is it holding up? i am looking for a shop in LA as well

I feel dumb, but I know almost nothing about PPF. It's like a plastic "skin", right? Do you have to remove it at some point? Or does it just wear off over time?

If a rock hits it, does it wrinkle up? I don't want to put something on that's going to cause another issue I have to deal with.

This...
Does anybody have some pics of PPF after it's been hit by a rock or parking lot ding? Interested to see how it holds up.

Are they doing the bumpers as well? I was told the front metal bumper and the rear plastic bumpers would not be done because ppf would not stick well on those surfaces and would be a problem in a matter of time.

PPF is not meant for the bumper as the surface is much different.

Short answer is no.

To the other question about rocks and dings, the short answer is also NO. It will protect the paint up to a point as hard door dings and very impactful rocks will still penetrate the PPF. It for sure saves the paint from scratches and light impacts. The PPF will get a hole when the impact is great but can stop the paint from chipping or a ding. All depends on the rock size and how hard it hits. I have PPF and for sure recommend it if one can afford it. So much easier to clean and it 100% protects the clear coat as well as provides off-roading protection from branches.

I had mine recently covered in Xpel PPF (everything except the tail gate) and ceramic coated. Total cost was $4,600. I had to travel an hour to the shop, but totally recommend it, they seem to be from the PA Area (originally).

By coincidence someone had their older Bronco being protected with PPF and ceramic coated as well.

Do you mind me asking how much it ended up being? And did they give a quote without the ceramic too?
