Preproduction model without any texture to the plastics, which production will obviously have.

I didn't think I would like the 12" screen, but I feel like it fills the dash out so much better than the 8". Now I'm hoping that there will be more chances to add this, other than just the High/Lux package. Then my mind starts going crazy thinking of how much it would cost to purchase and install down the road...getting ahead of myself.

This thing is beat. Hopefully the quality is much better than whatever this thing is and holds up A LOT better too

Only things I liked were the dash grab handle next to the steering wheel - even though not really sure what good it is there, at least it isn't a knockoff of a other recognizable vehicle - and that sweet screen put in horizontal instead of iPad-esque. Rest is frightening, but pretty sure they are already aware they need to fix that stuff before trying to sell one of them.

Yes! That was the very first thing that came to mind. Along with them kicking it with their dirty shoes and sand getting stuck in there. Those things are NOT for people with little kids in the back.

It is so interesting how people are upset by these pics of a preproduction unit. I was getting a little bored from the lack of news and these came about. I for one am glad Ford is testing the crap out of these units. I fully expect fit and finish to be much better. How hard is it to understand preproduction?
