I will be storing mine in the garage(so no wind) and will leave it on the toplift lift. I will add a couple extra braces to take he weight off the lifting points. This is a great setup and a decent deal if you can find one usedI think I read that here...a quick check of their website shows no such warnings. I would not feel comfortable putting it above my hood like they show in pictures tho. Wind tosses it around pretty good. the brakes work good, I'm just worried it could tip and land on my hood. couple 2x4s for it to rest on would help me sleep when it's windy!
That would be great. ThanksSame. I can take a picture of mine later in the day if it helps any.
you can control the lowering manually, like lowering a handtruck slowly. You will have to align the pins with the holes . It requires some effort but this thing works great. I have the top off and stored in less than 10 mins including taking out all the screws. How is it to line up the pins and lower the top back on the Bronco? Does it just drop down or can you control the lowering?
