I know some are looking at the chart and thinking base 2-door is best value, but not necessarily. It's not taking into account the value of the standard additions across trim classes or the discounted options based on trim. Such as Sasquatch upgrade is less for Badlands vs lower trim classes... It's all in what you want...

I think the sweet spot is Black Diamond with Sasquatch. Nicely equipped at a fair price. Base is porridge too cold; FE is porridge too hot; Black Diamond + Ssqch is jussst right.

I have to put numbers into a spreadsheet and/or chart to make sense of them. The way the 4 door price curve compares to the 2 door pretty clearly shows that the 2dr base was purposely held low, and the 4dr FE was inflated.

Surely a 4dr badsquatch 2.7, auto, lux, painted modular hard top will be priced less than the FE considering the FE contains pretty much all those package items the wife would be adding onto her badsquatch.

Does the Big Bend come with heated seats ? On the Ford website it states heated seats standard equipment. Then under the interior features, heated seats are optional ? This is actually an important factor in deciding what model / options for my build.

On the .pdf with all the trim levels, it doesn't look like it does. You'll have to add the Mid package.

If you click into the Big Bend details the heated front seats are listed as optional. You'll have to add the mid package to get it. The short description is just pointing out it's available, versus the Base.

Heated seats will cost me the Mid package. Really. All I want is the cloth heated seats. This isn't right.

Look at it this way, Ford reversed course a couple days ago when they said "Oops, Base 4 Door does NOT come with auto trans standard".

So at this point, I'd say anything that they list as Standard could very EASILY be changed to Optional if they see fit. Go with heated seats as most likely OPTIONAL.
