Do you mean under MSRP? The price on the Ford window sticker? An invoice amount is what the dealer pays for the truck before their internal rebates/refunds come back from Ford.

1 star review left with a recount of your experience. Good luck. Hope they make this right. There are almost 29 thousand members of this forum, and at least 5,000 visits a day. If even a fraction post negative reviews, it will really hurt that dealership. I hope they act fast.

Define "with an understanding." Unless it is written down and the dealership had signed off on an agreed upon price, your understanding and the dealership's understanding may be many thousand of dollars apart.

So tired of reading this kind of nonsense. The price was locked. Dealers can’t Willy Nilly do whatever they want. They can’t deliver you a Focus because “it wasn’t in writing.” Same reason I can’t claim I want a Badlands when my Base is delivered. If you promise to lock orders at MSRP, then they HAVE to be sold at MSRP.

I left a 1 star with some choice words - and they actually wrote me back today (noted below): Sounds like maybe the reviews are hitting them and making them stand up.

Al Ford said is that they will hold MSRP to 2021 prices, for reservation holders. They never said that the dealership you choose to do business with agree to MSRP. In fact, Ford said that we should all come to an agreement with our chosen dealership, before placing our orders. Ford does not control pricing at any of the independent dealerships, across this country. This is not new. Members of this forum have said, from the very beginning, to get written confirmation of your agreed price, because of this very thing.

Still bad business practice. So if they want to increase price, we have the right to leave poor reviews.
