Most estimates that we've heard so far have it starting around $30,000. As far as the release goes, that's not public knowledge yet.

I would be shocked if it didn’t start north of $35g.

Based on Ford's current pricing - if it's a small, simple vehicle like the first gen Broncos it could start in the low 20s. Escapes start around $24k. If it's bigger like the 90s big Broncos it will probably be some where between the Explorer starting at $32k and the Expedition around $56k.

If it's more expensive than an Explorer I probably will not buy. When I look at Ford's SUV pricing I think the odds are poor that I will be willing to pay for a new Bronco unless it really breaks the mold in a way I love.

Think it'll be revealed at the Detroit in a few weeks?

I hope we get a peak soon. That way I can finally decide to keep buying more 1g's or put some cash aside for a new one to go along with my 68.

I assume they will show the Ranger before they show the Bronco, but I have been surprised many times. Hopefully they will at least reveal the Ranger next week.

I've already seen pics of an undisguised blue Ranger on the streets

It is competing with the Wrangler, which right now has a premium (ridiculous) price point. They have some space to undercut Jeep. We'll see soon enough.

Competing with wrangler in everything except rock-crawling.

Whatever it is, I think its safe to say you can add a premium on top of the Explorer pricing.

I mean when you think about it. It will probably come with different packages that would make it as nicely equipped as an Explorer.

But then you add the cost of all the heavy duty equipment and offroad options, etc. The price gets up there more.

I would really be shocked to see it under 35k with any kind of options at all. MAYBE they will try to keep the starting price around 30k, but you wont be able to find one like that unless you order it.

But for a loaded up/off road (Think Raptor/FX4/Lariat) it will get up in to the high 40's and 50s. Just like the wrangler.

If Jeep pricing is any indication the Bronco is not going to be cheap. The new Wrangler base price has been jacked up a few times after its release without any new content.

I agree, I can see dealer's adding a premium on the first Bronco's to hit the sales floor. Of course as far as I'm concerned I will not be paying a premium. If the Bronco suits me, I can wait.
