So I decided to see what the Ol Carmax would offer for my 2022 Badlands 2 Door with 7k miles, Lux, manual and winch. Looks like the offers are getting more normal.

Carmax offered me under MSRP at the height of the frenzy. I would check a couple more.

Vroom gave me the best offer of 55k. CarMax and Carvana were both around 45k if I remember right. I checked out of curiosity a few weeks back.

MSRP at purchase was 46.8 and identical build now as a 23 is 49.9.

Here's the fun part, people who HAD to have them and were willing to pay over MSRP probably have them by now.

Every day there are more in circulation, and I'm sure some people who bought them found out they hate driving them... yes this is real. It's clear lots of people had no idea what they were actually buying. So those are finding their way back into the market.

And, oh yea, less money floating around out there. Inflation and interest rates ... this is going to get much worse. Broncos will be selling for under MSRP, it will eventually happen.

There will be a correction in the market place, has to happen.

Might take a little while, but I agree with you. I'm ok with waiting on a new vehicle, especially after the last 6-9 months. I think the end of 2023 and 2024 could be a nice time to purchase a new or used vehicle, if that's what you're targeting.

Car max usually has the lowest offer. Broncos are still selling 20k over original msrp USED on carvana and on lots.

Feds are raising loan rates. Thats how inflation is controlled. Guess its starting to work. Now the recession begins.

Weird, Carmax won’t give me an online appraisal for my 2021 Badlands 2 door 7mt. Says I have to bring it to them for an appraisal.

Speaking of the online secondary car market, how is this working out with all the modifications being done?

I know with trucks they actually offer less money once you tell them you've modified it. And let's face it people are ready to do mods day one with the Bronco.

Or are you all lying about your Bronco not being stock?

Ok, so you guys made me look. A couple months back I was seeing offers over $50k. Today, Carmax wants me to come in to see it, and Carvana is more of a normal offer. Keep in mind though, it's a 2021 BaseSquatch with 19,871 miles on it. Keep in mind with my offer below, Carvana would mostly like turn it around with a minimum price of $45k ($43k brand new).

From what I've been reading the last few weeks, the entire used car market has been normalizing. Sadly though, I saw an OBX at a local dealer the other day with 5k miles and they were selling it for $65k.
