Warn Zeons are usually between $950 and $2000, depending on the model.

I'd guess they'll offer either an 8-S or 10-S, which run for around $1200-$1500. Judging by how the winch plate on these looks, it's most likely a pricey add-on.

That seems like a lot. I don't even think I need a winch that will cost $1k. Sure as hell not spending $3k. I can find a better way to spend that money and still get a winch.

There are a lot of cheaper options. Warn's EVO series, Badlands, Quadratec Stealth, etc.

But, like I said, that mount will most likely cost a pretty penny.

On that note, I'm disappointed in how the modular front bumper is designed. They sacrificed function for form. You have to put a damn bumper in front of the bumper to get a winch on top of it. Would've been nice to tuck a winch inside the bumper.

Was shocked to see how expensive they are! But I guess for something so critical, you pay to play..... It does dull the hit if you were debating between Black Diamond and Badlands as the front locker will lessen the need for a winch for the average Joe.

Warn Winch, $2,400 without upgrades

Those are sold for closer to $1800. Personally, I'd get the non-Platinum ZEON 10-S. Or the EVO 10-S. The Platinum doesn't have a manual clutch. Fuck that.

Pretty sure they do! And like everything at HF, they go on sale a lot.

Do those come with any of those special winch lock bolts?

Good to know. I have not really priced things out and sought deals. Just going to manufacturers to see what is what and their line of gear.

I'm also considering that HF winch. It gets great reviews, but usually I steer clear of anything electrical from HF.

I actually think half of their stuff is alright, not to mention some of it is ridiculous cheap vs the store for some simple throw away items.
Certainly applies to their jack stands.

Tools, watches, cameras, guns, bikes, boats or trucks: Buy once, cry once.

Or die once -- a lot sooner, using HF crap.
