Eh…. I’d prefer to make it my own as much as possible at time of the build and price and avoid further obsession and cost. But who am I to talk? My 2023 non SAS BD is now fitted with Fabfours bumper, winch, tow hitch , separate off road and fog lights, air compressor, ford performance rear differential cover, roof rack and side steps, 35“ tires and ford performance coilovers. Thankfully all was done with about $4500 but my wife is still shaking her head.
And not everyone likes playing with Legos.... But a lot of us do.

There’s is no need for an additional $200 for heated headlights. Buy a snow scraper brush.

Says the man who lives in Texas....
Was just road tripping to Pagosa springs, CO last week and after living the first 30 years of my life in metro-Detroit where there are only two seasons, winter- and construction season- there’s no need for heated headlights. However I cannot speak to the needs of heated headlights in Antarctica.

You obviously do not live where we some of us see significant value in them. If you have to pull over to the side of the road every 5 to 10 minutes to scrape the Icy snow build up on your LED headlights It becomes an issue. Before LEDs, headlights generated enough heat to melt the stuff right off... Not LEDs... In just a couple of minutes of driving you can have a coating so thick your lights do not "work" anymore.... You can no longer see anything but you have to pull over to scrape them off. Finding a place to pull over on the highway can be challenging... Yea maybe a nice spot to pull over up 5 minutes up the road from you but you can not see to get there... It is a REAL problem. Never was a problem before LEDs.

I appreciate the subtle way the design makes it look like you're giving the car in front of you the finger 16 times.

Having driven in an ice storm 2 weekends ago, and having had to stop 5 times on the drive home to clear ice from my headlights, I have a fresh appreciation for this solution. Crazy how thick the ice built up in a short amount of time.
