Same, honestly. Part of me is really tempted to get a little more luxury with the Wildtrak and do aftermarket bumpers, skids and rock rails for the same price as an optioned up Badlands.
That's what I'm leaning towards. Basically my decision on optioned up BL vs. Wildtrak is going to come down to interior color options and how nice the marine vinyl is. I already know that I hate the bronco's modular steel bumper and that the BL rock rails don't provide enough protection so I'm going to replace those anyway.

My other decision point is wondering if I'll regret missing on the away bar disconnect by going Wildtrak.

So getting the painted hard top on the badlands would cause the grill to get painted to match right?
Per the Ford site, yes, grille and mirrors are matched to shadow black mod top. Who knows what it'll be when b&p goes live or what it'll be if white or body colored options are available.

I actually like the carbonized gray grill for the BL. It will accent nicely with Iconic Silver and the MIC top. Too bad the fender flares won’t match though.

Dang it! I am getting the wildtrak and I don’t like that grill
I'm getting a Badlands, wanna trade? I much prefer the black.

I'll bet ya a cup of coffee there's gonna be a lot of that sort of swapping stuff on next summer/fall. "Meet ya at the Cracker Barrel off ext such-and-such, bring tools!"

This does not make my optioned-up badlands vs wildtrack dilemma any easier haha
The difference between what the two “can do” should give you an answer. They are both great trims but serve two different purposes. It comes down to how you will use your bronco. And that will give you the answers you’re looking for.

Couple product details confirmed by BN

1. The WildTrak model will be produced with a grille which was unique to Badlands. Production WildTrak and Badlands will now share the same grille but with different finishes. The standard Wildtrak grille will be painted black.

2. The MIC top seen on the Wildtrak behind Farley in recent photos is still preproduction. The WildTrak top will be painted black like the grille.

So the Wildtrak black painted grille should look like this:

And the Badlands grille will be in different finish, like this:

How did you guys get the scoop so fast this isn’t even on the BN website yet lol

How do you get this? Is it by ordering the modular top?
It should be an add on with the B&P- $1900.00. I am not sure on the top type to be honest and I am not picky on that. I only know I want the top, grille, flares and grille to match and be painted black.

I know the FE folk are disappointed the grille isn't navy pier. ?
Ford announced the other day that all models will have only one interior color choice, Navy Pier. But you will have a choice between Cloth Navy Pier and Leather Navy Pier. The FE will be the only model with multiple interior choices. (Wait I was dreaming and just woke up) Lol

I'm good with this. I like the carbonized grey MIC top on cyber orange body. I think this carbonized grey grill will look great with it. I hope door handles and fender protectors will match also.
I'm the opposite. I like the look of black with CO. But haven't seen a full picture of all grey with CO. I'm sure ford will allow full color match for a price. And probably for accent colors to match like grill lettering and the bronco on the back.
