Oh well, I kinda liked the BL having a unique grille. I guess that's why Ford came up with badges because at the end of the day no one's going to be able to tell who has what.

Couple product details confirmed by BN

1. The WildTrak model will be produced with a grille which was unique to Badlands. Production WildTrak and Badlands will now share the same grille but with different finishes. The Wildtrak grille will be painted black.

2. The MIC top seen on the Wildtrak behind Farley in recent photos is still preproduction. The WildTrak top will be painted black like the grille.

So the Wildtrak black painted grille should look like this:

And the Badlands grille will be in different finish, like this:

I'd be curious how this looks if the White Roof options is available. Can't imagine a CG with white roof and black grille.

Dang it! I am getting the wildtrak and I don’t like that grill
Agreed. I want the BB grill painted black. Looks like i’ll be changing it out. The BL grill looks like a pain to clean and seal.

Hmm... This definitely opens up the possibility of a black grill as an option for the Badlands if it's an already existing part.

Seems "fair" to me. Previously (aside from finishes) BB, OB, and WT had the same grille, so this kinda evens things out, if you wanna look at it that way. Two models per grille design, and then whatever the hell they end up putting on the FE.

I hope grilles are an option. I'm getting the Wildtrak but I like the Base and the Black Diamond grille the most.
I'd imagine there will be a pretty strong aftermarket market on a lot of parts. No reason why grilles can't be one of those.
(But you'd think Ford would want to cut that market out and offer options on the grille)

I think the black painted grill looks pretty amazing with the white lettering. Wondering if you can go with a paint matched grill...

Can anyone explain the two different front bumpers on the black Wildtrak versus the white Badlands Broncos at the start of this thread?

Wildtrak has the non-modular plastic front bumper. The badlands has the modular steel bumper with bash plates. Can’t mount anything (easily) to the wildtrak bumper

Now I need to find a Wildtrak owner to trade me grills...

No.

FE, WT and BL now all share the same grille with different finishes.

OLD PIC, PRE change.

now I am confused (no surprise there) but I thought this tread started by saying that the BL and the WT will now share the same grille with black for the WT and the carbonized gray for the BL? Was there also a reference about the FE?
