When it comes to Ford and the new Bronco it’s getting pretty hard to know what to believe....
Changes happen man.
I got the shop manual for my Chevy. The manual mentions the manual transmission transfer case... they never did offer 4wd with the manual trans. Must've been scrapped at some point.
Same truck, has a filler spot behind the gas door for a DEF tank. Chevy didn't offer the diesel until the next year.

Wait, so the WildTrak doesn't get the disgusting MIC gray top? Does it get the top that's a $1900 option on the Badlands?

Nice! WildTrak shaping up nicely- always liked that grill on the BL the best,.

Does this mean the WildTrak no longer has those active grill shudders (if that’s what they were called) that open and close to allow air intake - always thought that was just another thing that could break. Anyhow, hope they’re gone now!
Then the price should be a little lower too, right??

It's kind of funny, I don't really care about the grill, it's the headlights that matter to me
I can't stand the wildtrak headlights with that thing going through the middle
The Badlands looks sooooo much better IMHO....

Don’t the OB, BL, WT and FE have the same headlights?

Spec sheet at ford.com today under Wildtrak still calls out active grill shutters. They're for improving fuel economy on highway. They are very fragile. Cost $542 as of 9/28/2020 on Escapes. My wife has broken one each on 2 different Escapes. Once you break them, I just pull the broken lose pieces out of the front of the grill and keep driving. Have to replace when you turn the lease back in. If you purchase the vehicle, you never have to replace it.

Go look at the pictures again, the WT has the, I guess turn signal bar go through the middle of the head light. The BL has it just to the side giving a more round shape head light which is more retro..

Couple product details confirmed by BN

1. The WildTrak model will be produced with a grille which was unique to Badlands. Production WildTrak and Badlands will now share the same grille but with different finishes. The standard Wildtrak grille will be painted black.

2. The MIC top seen on the Wildtrak behind Farley in recent photos is still preproduction. The WildTrak top will be painted black like the grille.

So the Wildtrak black painted grille should look like this:

That's terrible, I like the grille that is on the original Wildtrack...don't want something that looks like a cheese grater

And the Badlands grille will be in different finish, like this:

That’s just a Frankenstein bronco in the pic. The outer banks, badlands, and wildtrak all get the signature lighting.

you mean like these
Yup, I have an FE reserved and I really don't like the look of those lights, I would much rather have the other style.

Definitely like the looks of the Black Grille better. Wondering what Grille the FE will receive. Ford Authority mentioned a Black painted Steel Grille as a option. Maybe the Wildtrak and FE will get the Steel Black Grille. (I Hope)

I'm good with this. I like the carbonized grey MIC top on cyber orange body. I think this carbonized grey grill will look great with it. I hope door handles and fender protectors will match also.
