PSA: Floor Jack "Jack Rod Stand"

Though I have a pair of lifts in my garage there are times when I need a traditional floor jack (one of which is a high quality Pro-Eagle Offroad jack).

I just discovered these Jack Rod stands and purchased one... It's makes me think why it took so long to be invented, LOL ... Simple, great design at a reasonable price..

I have no affiliation with the company, just wanted to pass this along, especially for those taking and using a jack off-road

That's different. not sure if I'd use it instead of a jack stand. I personally always used my jack stands as a secondary safety feature in case the frame or suspension slipped off the jack pad or the jack hydraulics failed. The jack rod is still only as secure as the contact point of the jack pad. I think I'd still prefer a second point of contact when working under the car.

Good to know, they appear identical except for the color. It appears that Jack Rod (AGM) may manufacture them for Pro-Eagle. My Pro-Eagle 3T high-wheel jack is well worth the $$.

AGM beat us to the punch with theirs so we worked with them instead of against them. Our version is longer than their standard version which works better for anything over a 1.5 ton jack. AGM offers an XL size but it is REALLY large and more for those 4-5 ton long arm jacks.

Do you work with Pro-Eagle? As I stated above, I've never been sorry for buying the best, and have a PE jack...... and now the Jack Rod.

I have something from Torrance, LOL.

My '70 Boss302 car was from Vel's Parnelli Jones Ford in Torrance and reported to be his demo car which makes sense as it's an unusually high-optioned B2 car. Most B2s didn't even have tachs... The race shop was on the same grounds as the Dealership. A pity we recently lost him. A factory warranty sticker and license plate frame still on the car....
