Great thread here! I see the issue on my 2.7 as well.
1. Issue with hose against nut/pulley
2. Pulling hose away manually
3. Zip Tie Set
4. Zip tie cut

also posting a video to show location - hope this helps

Just wait til you look under the hood. Half the 2.7 is held together with zipties.

There are probably 25 in that photo. Maybe its my imagination, but the 2.7 looks a lot cleaner than before. Everything is zip tied down and far less is just flapping.
On a separate note, as I’m not an engine guy, I just need a reference thread that labels what some of this stuff is! Lol :) There is allot going on there!

I have NO clue either. These engines are insane.

I will say the 2.7 is a BEAST. Power for DAYS.

Correct! Let me try the video again! Can’t believe I can’t get it to upload

Edit: looks like it worked — not this video was AFTER I zip tied it . Good luck! It’s down in there for sure

Mine had the hose actually touching the pulley. Good thing I took zip ties with me to fix it up. Even pointed it out to the dealership before I tied it back so they know to check it. I am a happy camper today :)

Tied mine back. I could only get one hand down there from the top. Had to have my daughter sneak her arm in from the side to help get the zip tie started. I feel much better now

Best pictures yet. Sorry if this is a dumb question but what are you zip tying the hose to exactly? Is there a bar there?

No bar, just zip tie it to the larger hose that is vertical and closer to the radiator. The problem hose in question is fairly flexible and does not require a lot of pressure to move out of the way.

@flip has some other great pics of the area if u search his postsđź‘Ť

I'm not sure what the early builds looked like as far as securing the hose, but took delivery yesterday on a 9/29 build. It appears that the hose in question has been connected to 2 hoses above and below the pulley.

Possibly fixing the issue? Probably something I would check each time you wash or think about it to make sure it doesn't move closer.

is anyone else with a 9/29 build or later able to confirm these now come from Ford with a zip tie holding the hose a bit away from the pulley?

Fixed. Thanks for heads up OP. Don’t defend Ford much of late but it seems they had intention to keep hose away from pulley with a clip. Problem was on mine, it needed to come up 3-4 inches on install to be most effective.

Thanks again!!

Edit: 9/7 Build date.

My bronco was built 9/29 and did not have a zip tie. I had to add one. Thanks for the heads up.

Fair enough....I only brought it up because I saw @flip said he told his PDI folks weeks ago to check for this and add the zip tie if there was contact. He also said he put it on the Ford message boards. I suppose if this is a big enough problem they may issue an FSA or recall. I'll try to remember to check my Bronco when it comes in.
I brought this up to the service manager at delivery and he seemed offended and genuinely not interested......."I checked the FORD TSBs and it's not addressed so we cannot do anything about it"
I asked him if he wanted to see the issue while I took care of it, he was again not interested. Although another sales person wanted to see the issue and came out with me me to check it out.

Thanks for the video. Appreciate the head up. Picking mine up in the next week or so, trying to be prepared.
