PSA if you use a pressure washer to clean your Bronco Raptor bumper.

While washing the Braptor today I accidentally damaged the rubber piece above the bumper. Just a heads up if you use a pressure washer the rubber is soft enough for the water to tear it up. The pressure washer I have is not even powerful it’s a cheap electric one.

my 'cheap' electric power washer is more than capable of chewing up concrete when used with a very narrow pattern tip.

what tip pattern were you using?

I use my pressure washer helps get the sand off everything before I touch it maybe don't use a 0 tip lol

Looks like it’s a 15 degree tip.

I think even when I bought mine it specifically said to use nothing smaller than like 40 degrees. Something like a 15 is not meant for your vehicle.

Yikes. I use a 40 degree tip for cars (even has a picture of a car on it) and have never damaged anything. Just be glad that all you damaged was that and not the paint.

I have it on my bb plastic (incapable) bumper.

It sits there between bumper and lower body-color grill surround and takes the wind like a champ

You can get a set of tips off of Amazon for a little over $6. I find that 25 degrees is not too strong for a late model car with good condition paint. But always allow some standoff distance between the end of the gun/tip and the surface being sprayed.

Yep, even a small pressure washer can shred shit with the wrong tip and user error. File it away in the do not do memory
