At one month out from my (currently standing) build date, I have yet to discuss numbers with my dealer as they’ve been incredibly difficult to keep in contact with.

Where does everyone else stand on finalizing purchase price?

You should have this put to bed before you ordered. You are now at their mercy on pricing. Just go to the dealer and speak to them face to face.

I love a good could’ve/should’ve/would’ve as much as the next person, but this is the opposite of helpful or informative.

Have an agreement in writing for MSRP. You need to go and talk to the dealer ASAP and pray they will sell it to you for MSRP. I doubt it at this point but I hope Im wrong.

I have a VIN, but I have no need for a purchase agreement. I ordered my Bronco from Sewell Ford, so the terms of purchase are already transparent and laid out. They’ve sent multiple emails confirming those terms.

I will after work today, hoping for anything other than a disaster. But, we’ll see.

I have zero experience purchasing a vehicle from a manufacturer, so I was bound to mess something up I suppose.

Hopefully you have a great honorable dealer. Otherwise you are SOL. In multiple communications from Ford, they advised reservation holders to have your pricing negotiated with your dealer before you placed your order.

I didn't necessarily sign a purchase agreement, but they provided me with an accurate build dora that I signed. I assumed that this was to protect them in case I said they entered my order wrong, but I also suppose it'll act as a signed price agreement. Either way, it was for MSRP.

Are these Ford emails you’re referring to? Or another source?

I did not have this conversation until after I had ordered--maybe March after a January order. While I have no written agreement, the Bronco specialist I have dealt with exclusively said their policy is to never charge over MSRP on Special Order vehicles. He said even Shelby Mustangs, etc. all are sold at MSRP. My words with him: "You have me over a barrel, but if you want me to ever buy/service anything through you again, you'd better treat me right." Although you have no negotiating power on the Bronco itself now, you are still a customer who may or may not ever deal with them again.

I only e-mailed them my B&P with the authorization to place an order in my name. My dealer is honoring x-plan pricing for early orders even if Ford does not, so that's what my price will be. I've only talked to my sales guy twice, once at the Bronco event. Signing and paying will happen when it's delivered and I like it after a test drive and a good once over.

What's "x plan" pricing?

Financing in place and a $0.00 balance due on delivery (except taxes, tag, and title fee). Price was about 1% under MSRP (not the best deal, but certainly not the worst). They do have a lowest price guarantee, so if someone paid less for the same configuration, they will refund me the difference.

So if you ordered a 2dr 2.7 cloth interior OBX advanced 4x4 with LUX and TOW, let me know if you paid less than $47,953 with the destination charge. I would love to get some extra money back.
